Working with the Lake County Sheriff and Deputy Cynthia Radoumis, California PAL transported 1,000 of the Bears that B4H donated and gave them to the Sheriff’s Deptment and fire department to distribute to the kids that were affected by the Lake Country fires.  

Over 1,000 homes were burned to the ground and hundreds of families were living in make-shift camps, at the local school and fair grounds.  Hundred of kids were effected and for most, didn't know where they were going to live day by day. So many of these families left with just the clothes on their back leaving all their possession only to be destroyed in the fires.

No doubt that these bears will have a tremendous effect on the kids, the bears will give them something to cling to, something they can call their own when they have lost everything.
