How Bears For Humanity Recycles Plastics Bottles for Good

Bears For Humanity is in business to do whole lot of good for children, women, animals and our environment. As an eco-friendly company, we are leading the way in recycling plastic and soda bottles to save our environment, reduce landfills, and save aquatic life from extinction. We are inspired to follow reputable global companies like Patagonia who started using recycled materials from plastic and soda bottles for clothing in 2005. For more information visit http://www.patagonia.com/recycled-polyester.html

In our commitment to creating a safe and sustainable future for our Children, Bears For Humanity uses recycled PET as filling for all our toys, gifts and souvenirs. PET or PETE is commonly known as the clear plastic which is used for water and soda bottle containers. As a raw material, PET is globally recognized as a safe, non-toxic, strong, lightweight, flexible material that is 100% recyclable.

According to PET Resin Association, food and beverage containers made from the polyester plastic known as PET do not contain Bisphenol-A (BPA). Please visit http://www.petresin.org/aboutpet.asp for more information. As part of the recycling process, we cleanse all toxic materials like BPA from plastic and soda bottles. After cleansing, we make them into soft fibers that we use to fill our products – SAFE FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR PLANET.
