When you purchase a Bears For HumanityTM Teddy Bear, we donate another teddy bear just like it to a child in need. We have partnered with reputable charitable organizations to help put our teddy bears in the hands of those who need the most.

Giving Partners

Giving away all these bears to children in need is hard work! To make sure our precious teddy bears get into the right little hands we have partnered with a number of reputable charitable organizations. They each bring their own expertise to the process, and ensure that each gifted teddy bear is personally delivered with love and care to just the right child. Whether it’s to children with a life-threatening illness, an underprivileged home, or a needy veteran’s family, our bears end up just where we want them: with someone who could use a smile. We love what we do, and only partner with organizations that share our values.

Toys for Tots

Toys for Tots

The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.

The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.

Save the Children

Save The Children

Save the Children invests in childhood – every day, in times of crisis and for our future. In the United States and around the world, we give children a healthy start, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. By transforming children's lives now, we change the course of their future and ours.

Why we care

One Simple Wish

One Simple Wish

In 2006, Danielle Gletow & her husband Joe became foster parents and it changed their lives forever.
The Gletows journey into foster care began when an 18 month-old little boy nervously entered their home wearing a coat two sizes too big after being removed abruptly from his abusive home. Over the next two years they learned so much more about the children living in the foster care system, the resources they were going without, the lack of awareness in the general public and the support these children desperately needed and deserved. They knew they had to do more for children in foster care and vowed to commit their lives to doing it.

One Simple Wish was born in 2008 to empower everyone to brighten the lives of children in foster care in simple, yet meaningful ways. All children deserve happy childhoods. One Simple Wish creates them.

Lucile Packard

Lucile Packard Foundation For Children

In California, more than one million children have a special health care need, which is a chronic physical, developmental, behavioral or emotional condition that requires more than routine health and related services.

Children with special health care needs and their families face many challenges. Health care and other necessary support services generally are provided in an uncoordinated manner, and families are left to navigate the fragmented system on their own. Health care coverage is often inadequate, expensive and inconsistent. Even when families have health coverage, many children may have unmet health care needs due to limited access to pediatric specialists and preventive care. For children of color, low-income families, and families living in rural areas, these challenges are greater.

This fragmented system of care places these children at higher risk for poor health outcomes in both the short and long term. It also increases health care costs and puts many families under enormous financial and emotional stress.
